The use of wooden wind chimes has already been a constant part of the beautification process in the home and history cannot deny its existence. Records show that the original idea came from India, wherein they have their own form of wind bells which are usually hung to drive away evil spirits as well as birds of pestilence. An advisable type of wood to use is an oak hardwood and after having them shaped, this must be drilled in about an inch from the end to be able to hang them up.
Determine the type of tones to be expected from the end result of the wooden wind chimes by striking the wood and having it trimmed to the desired pitch. After creating the appropriate sizes of the wood for the desired music, evenly place the wood together with a considerable distance from each other in a way that it forms a circle.
